What about things to do other than skiing Off-season

Plan d’Eau Biotope in Combloux makes for a wonderful day out. It is a wonderful location to enjoy swimming and lazing, with  a majestic view of the Mont-Blanc Massif as a backdrop!

Combloux boasts the  first ecological mountain lake in France, in the most superb setting. The lake was created for swimming and has more than  10 000 aquatic plants filtering the water in order to purify it; this ensures an optimal water quality, without the use of chemicals or chlorine. Naturally heated by the  sun, the water temperature varies from 19°C to 26°C, so grit your teeth and enjoy! There is also a pretty  waterfall feature, and with a backdrop of  Mont-Blanc, this is one of the prettiest spots  au Pays du Mont-Blanc!

More than 10,000 aquatic plants and a small cascading stream ensure an irreproachable water quality for the 1500m² of swimming. Naturally heated by the sun's rays, the water temperature varies between 19 ° C and 26 ° C, thanks to a cover stretched at the bottom of the swimming pool, with a gently sloping access ideal for children. The lake is located in the centre of the village in an alpine landscape preserved from any "concrete" architecture. The lake is bordered by a wooden solarium and a grassed beach and a bar restaurant.

To allow the plants to do their work in good conditions and have optimum water quality, the number of daily entries to the water is limited to 500. Reservation recommended.
